Match the pump to your water setup
The Marflo MF-QB60 is a compact peripheral pump to consider for a suitable clean-water transfer setup. This listing covers one 0.5HP pump unit. It is a starting point for planning your water system; horse power alone does not determine whether a pump will solve low pressure at your taps.
What to check before buying
The supplier’s MF-QB60 reference specifies a 0.5HP motor and 220V / 60Hz operation. Confirm the stocked nameplate before connection. Choose pipework and controls for the actual pump, and ask for a performance check rather than treating a maximum-flow figure as the flow available at your required pressure.
Send us the water source, the lowest expected water level, pipe diameter, approximate pipe length, rise to the highest outlet and the number of taps used together. A photo or sketch of the current arrangement helps us review the setup. A shallow-well jet pump should not be selected for a deep well simply by increasing horse power.
Plan the complete installation
Pressure tanks, pump controllers, switches, gauges, foot or check valves, pipes, fittings and installation labour are separate unless expressly included in your quotation. A qualified installer should determine which parts your arrangement requires and confirm their sizes and pressure ratings. Ask us for a matched setup instead of assuming that an accessory fits every pump.
Follow the supplied manual for priming and installation. Self-priming does not mean the pump can be run empty. Keep suction connections airtight, protect the electrical connection and arrange appropriate earthing and circuit protection. Do not use this listing as approval for sewage, abrasive water or chemicals.
