Check the source of the leak before choosing a repair
Bostik Super Vulcaseal is a one-component elastomeric sealant used for suitable cracks, gaps and patching work around metal roofing, gutters and downspouts. Identify the surface and condition of the damage first. Repair suitability depends on the actual job; a sealant alone does not correct every leak or damaged component.
Prepare the surface
The manufacturer’s instructions require the application area to be dry and free of loose contamination before sealing. Read the current label and technical instructions for the substrate, application and curing requirements. No universal coverage figure is stated here because the amount needed depends on the gap and repair dimensions.
Plan the materials and dispatch
A suitable applicator and preparation supplies may be needed and are sold separately. This product contains flammable solvents: follow the label for ventilation and ignition-source precautions. Courier acceptance and the delivery charge are confirmed for the product, packed parcel and destination before dispatch.
