Choose by the substrate, joint width, expected movement, exposure to sunlight or rain and whether the surface can be prepared and dried as required. A roof leak, flexible gutter joint and fixed masonry crack can require different repair systems.

Before ordering, check the maker’s instructions for cleaning, priming, application thickness, working time, drying and cure. Identify why the leak is occurring and repair damaged substrates first. Do not assume an elastomeric sealant replaces structural repair or can be applied to active water flow without an explicitly approved procedure.
