Important generator safety
Operate outdoors only, at least 20 feet (about 6 metres) from doors, windows, and vents. Never run a generator inside a house, shop, garage, or other enclosed area, even with doors open. Allow it to cool before refuelling. For any connection to building wiring, have a qualified electrician assess the installation and use appropriate transfer equipment. Never back-feed a wall outlet.
