Coverage and project timing
Boysen’s theoretical coverage is 25–30 m² per 4L at 2.5–2.0 mils dry-film thickness, depending on texture and porosity. Use it as a reference for one primer application. Budget the topcoat separately and allow the stated recoating interval; a surface that feels dry to touch is not automatically ready for the next coat.
Topcoat compatibility
The manufacturer’s schedule lists Quick Drying Enamel, Cool Shades or Roofgard for the second and third coats. Follow the appropriate preparation and thinning guidance on the label. Selecting a compatible finish is part of the order, so include the topcoat name when asking us to check your shopping list.

Tell us the metal type, whether it is bare or painted, and how much corrosion or loose coating is present. Send a close-up photo and measured coating area; include both sides when both will be painted. Different metal conditions need different preparation decisions.
