BOYSEN® Healthy Home™ is a high-quality, odor-less, low-VOC, and lead-free acrylic water-based interior paint. It is formulated with antibacterial technology that helps protect against E. coli, Salmonella, mildew, and fungus, making it an ideal choice for healthier indoor environments.

Surface Preparation

New Concrete

• Allow to cure for 14-28 days before painting.
• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, and loose grit.
• If neutralizing is required, apply BOYSEN® Masonry Neutralizer B-44 (1:16 water ratio). Let dry overnight, rinse off white crystals, and allow the surface to dry completely before painting.

Drywall Substrates

• Follow the manufacturer’s installation and joint-securing guidelines.

Repainting

• Remove loose, flaking, or peeling paint using manual scraping or BOYSEN® Paint and Varnish Remover B-141.
• For chalky old paint, apply BOYSEN® Chalk Blocker™ B-7304 as a surface conditioner.
• If mildew is present, treat with a 1:3 bleach-to-water solution, let stand for 24 hours, then clean and allow to dry before painting.
