Description
Bostik Rugby Excel is a general-purpose synthetic-rubber contact cement with strong initial tack and resistance to heat, water, oil and many chemicals. Suitable for bonding materials such as rubber, leather, leatherette, foam, metal, canvas and plywood.
300mL contact adhesive
Bostik Rugby Excel 300mL can be considered for manufacturer-approved bonding jobs involving the materials listed on the product label. Contact cements are often selected for surfaces that can be prepared and brought into firm contact at the correct stage of application. Check whether your project involves heat, water, flexible materials or dissimilar substrates before selecting this adhesive.
Safe application
Refer to the current Bostik instructions for coat thickness, drying or flash-off time, positioning and full cure. Prepare both surfaces and test compatibility before working on a valuable item. Use appropriate ventilation, protect skin and eyes and keep the work area away from ignition sources where relevant. Do not rely on general adhesive for structural or load-bearing fixes.
