The Bosch CYL-2 5.5 mm masonry drill bit, part number 2608578117, is sold individually. Use the exact diameter required by your chosen anchor or fixing instructions. A nominal screw size is not automatically the diameter of the hole you need.

Working length describes the fluted portion; total length also includes the shank. Allow for the fixing manufacturer’s specified hole depth and the chuck engagement. Do not assume that the entire bit length is usable drilling depth.
Tool and material fit
CYL-2 is a straight-shank masonry bit for an appropriate standard drill chuck. It is not an SDS-plus accessory and it is not a metal twist bit. Use it for suitable brick, masonry or light concrete work, with the tool and bit instructions guiding the drilling mode. Tell us if the surface is tile, reinforced concrete, metal or timber so we can check a more suitable accessory.
Before you drill
Check the wall for concealed cables and pipes. Use suitable eye protection and dust control, and follow the drill manual. Heavy, overhead or structural fixings need an appropriate anchor and substrate assessment. This product does not include an anchor, screw, drill or a safe-load certification for the finished fixing.
