Palm routers are compact woodworking tools for edge shaping, trimming and other approved routing tasks. Compare Bosch, Makita and Powerhouse models by motor power or cordless battery platform, collet diameter, available base, depth adjustment and compatible router bits. A fixed-base palm router and a plunge router may need different techniques and accessories.

Before ordering, confirm exact bit shank size, whether a guide or additional base is included, and the tool’s permitted cutter dimensions. For cordless models, check battery and charger inclusion separately. Secure timber, feed the cutter in the recommended direction and use suitable eye and dust protection. Disconnect power before changing bits or adjusting the collet.
