Demolition hammers are intended for manufacturer-approved chiseling and breaking work in concrete or masonry. Compare models by tool-holder style, impact energy, operating weight, power supply and availability of compatible pointed or flat chisels. SDS-max, hex and other shank systems must be matched to the actual machine.

Before ordering a Makita, Dong Cheng or other demolition hammer, confirm the manufacturer’s chiseling application, accessory fitting, working voltage and whether any bits or case are supplied. Check the work area for concealed wiring and plumbing. Use hearing, eye, vibration and dust protection appropriate to the job, and never change attachments while the tool is powered.
